In 2000, he received a BS at the University of Notre Dame before going to medical school at the University of New Mexico and completing his residency at the University of Texas in 2008. He’s had abundant experience in new and innovational procedures. “My goal is to keep current on new medical procedures and technology to be able to provide the utmost care to every patient that I see.” Dr. Sandate also says:
“The hard work of my parents finally paid off when they were able to put me through medical school. I always knew that I wanted to be a physician, as I always enjoyed helping people. However, I realized that I wanted to become an OB/GYN when I discovered that I liked to see life grow. As a child, seeing a plant grow appalled me, and as I grew older, I was astonished by how a human being can develop and be born in this world. Being able to be a part of this development has always been my passion.”
After completing residency, Dr. Sandate began work at Women’s Specialty Center. He describes the practice as hardworking and constantly striving to provide the best care to every patient. Within his first year of practicing, Dr. Sandate had seen hundreds of patients and accomplished his goal of bringing over 100 lives into the world. He’s also saved the lives of many women through surgical treatment. He has proven to be a Latino leader in the much-needed medical field.
